Job summary

AAA USA Inc in North Carolina is seeking a Tooling Technician with 3+ years in aerospace tooling or precision machining. You will install, repair, maintain, align, and modify tooling, jigs, molds, fixtures, and industrial equipment.

Must be willing to travel or relocate temporarily to Kinston, NC. You will dismantle and move machinery, set up tools, perform routine maintenance, and support reliability programs with root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace tooling or precision machining experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely move and position heavy tooling and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment according to plans or instructions.
• Dismantles equipment and uses hand tools to repair.
• Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors and tram rails with hand and power tools.
• Constructs foundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection and maintenance.
• Sets up and operates machine tools to rework or make parts.
• Performs root/cause analysis and supports reliability processes with vendors and engineering.
