Job summary

AAA USA is seeking skilled NDT professionals experienced in inspecting aircraft components and assemblies without causing damage. Candidates should have hands-on Ultrasonic Testing (UT) experience and the ability to evaluate components for compliance with engineering, quality, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related technical discipline with 3 years of related experience.
• Experience performing Ultrasonic Testing (UT) in aerospace/manufacturing/precision inspection.
• Experience with UT methods: Phased Array, Pulse-Echo, Shear Wave, Through-Transmission.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of nondestructive testing principles and quality requirements.
• Ability to document inspection results and identify nonconforming conditions.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondestructive inspections to evaluate properties and condition of materials and assemblies.
• Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) using phased array, pulse-echo, shear wave, and through-transmission methods.
• Utilize NDI methods and equipment to verify parts meet engineering, customer, and quality requirements.
• Set up, calibrate, standardize, and operate UT equipment per procedures and specs.
• Document inspection results and nonconforming conditions in accordance with procedures.
• Conduct system performance checks and equipment standardization per process standards.
• Establish inspection techniques from approved procedures and work instructions.
• Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming conditions; assist corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection equipment, records, certifications, and required documentation.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced NDI personnel and trainees.
• Support audit surveillance of nondestructive inspection processes and ensure compliance.
• Follow all company, customer, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
