Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace tooling or precision machining experience
• Proficiency with laser trackers, GD&T blueprints, overhead gantry cranes, and hydraulic systems
• High School diploma or technical degree; US person status (ITAR compliance)
• Knowledge of safety, quality (FOD) and OSHA regulations
• Ability to articulate complex issues in English
• Training in Health & Safety, General Aircraft Familiarization and Quality Training provided by Airbus

Responsibilities

• Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment according to plans and drawings
• Operates hand tools to disassemble and rework equipment; uses hoists, dollies and cranes to move machinery
• Assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors and tram rails; constructs foundations and aligns machines
• Performs routine maintenance and safety checks; conducts root-cause analysis with engineering and vendors
• Maintains and repairs lay-up tools and participates in corrective actions
