Job summary

AAA USA Inc is seeking a Tooling Technician willing to travel and relocate to Kinston, NC. The role covers installation, repair, maintenance, alignment, and modification of precision tooling, jigs, molds, fixtures, and industrial equipment.

Key responsibilities include dismantling and moving machinery, installing conveyors, and performing routine maintenance. A minimum of 3+ years in aerospace tooling or precision machining is required, with strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years aerospace tooling or precision machining experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely move and position heavy tooling and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, move, assemble, install, and repair machinery per plans.
• Disassemble equipment using hand tools.
• Move machinery using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assemble and install conveyors and tram rails.
• Construct foundations; align machines; perform inspection and maintenance.
• Set up and operate tools to rework or make parts.
• Perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with teams to fix issues.
• Rework and maintain tools.
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance (filters, bulbs, lubrication).
• Repair and build lay-up tools.
