AAA USA Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Tooling Technician to install, repair, maintain, and modify precision tooling and industrial equipment.

The role requires hands-on machining work and strong troubleshooting skills, with 3+ years in aerospace tooling or precision machining. You will dismantle, install, align, and service machines, tools, and fixtures, participate in root-cause analysis, and support reliability initiatives across production teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of aerospace tooling or precision machining experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely move and position heavy tooling and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions.
• Dismantles equipment and machines using hand tools.
• Moves machinery and equipment using hoist, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assembles and installs equipment such as conveyors and tram rails using hand and power tools.
• Constructs foundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection and maintenance.
• Sets up and operates machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or make new parts.
• Perform root/cause analysis in support reliability processes, and collaborate with vendors, engineering, team leader, customer, other crafts and management to solve equipment problems and develop corrective action.
• Rework and maintain tools of all types and materials.
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of daily duties.
