Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Promontory, UT, is seeking an Engineer Energetics Manufacturing to join our Space Systems team.

You will lead tooling design, fabrication drawings, inspection and procurement support for aerospace tooling, working with cross‑functional teams to meet cost and schedule goals. The role requires a BS in STEM with 2+ years (level 2) or MS with 0–3 years; experience in FE analysis (ANSYS), solid modeling (Siemens NX), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• BS degree in STEM with 2 years of engineering experience or MS with 0 years.
• Experience evaluating vendor capabilities and tooling production.
• Experience with closed form and FE analysis; ANSYS preferred.
• Solid modeling experience; Siemens NX preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with review team to ensure customer satisfaction with design.
• Manage projects and coordinate procurements and fabrication to meet cost/schedule.
• Inspect fabricated tooling for design compliance; support manufacturing.
• Develop tooling concepts and review manufacturing processes.
• Perform stress analysis to ensure mechanical soundness per NG requirements.
