Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Tool Maker in Mason, OH. The role involves constructing and repairing dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges, using Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and Saws to exact tolerances in an aerospace-enabled environment.

The position requires working 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with a strong emphasis on precision, safety, and quality under AS9100 and NADCAP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade School / Apprenticeship for Tool Maker or CNC Machining.
• Must meet ITAR US person requirement.
• Experience operating toolroom machines (mills, lathes, grinders, saws).
• Strong math skills: shop math, geometry, trigonometry.
• Aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, maintain, and calibrate dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Operate toolroom machines and perform precise fitting and adjustments.
• Independently construct tools when no design exists.
• Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to build fixtures and parts.
• Ensure conformance to tolerances with precision measuring tools.
• Document labor in ERP system and follow AS9100/NADCAP standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to PPE use.
