Job summary

Rharecruiters is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker for a weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts) in Ohio. You will operate Hurco CNC mills and conventional machines to produce, repair, and modify tooling essential for precision aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities include precision measurement, quality inspections with micrometers and CMMs, and maintaining tooling to support repeatable production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Practical knowledge of CNC and conventional machining.
• Ability to operate mills, lathes, grinders and saws.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming including G-code and M-code.
• Familiarity with stamping, welding, and heat treatment.
• Strong math skills: geometry, trigonometry, and dimensional calculations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and control dimensions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Able to work independently while communicating with engineering.
• Must meet the U.S. Government definition of a “U.S. Person” for ITAR.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training or support.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hurco CNC milling machines and apply G-code/M-code programming.
• Use mills, lathes, grinders, saws, and other toolroom machinery.
• Manufacture, assemble, adjust, and repair dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Develop or modify tooling when standard designs are unavailable.
• Inspect components with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and CMMs.
