Job summary

Collective Manufacturing Group LLC is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team. The candidate will weld a variety of aerospace alloys to precise specifications, read blueprints, and follow detailed instructions to maintain high quality and productivity.

Responsibilities include tool setup, in-process inspections, collaboration with Quality Control and Engineering, and adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; TIG welding certification required.
• 4+ years of TIG welding experience in aerospace manufacturing or precision machining.
• Experience with aerospace alloys including Inconel, aluminum, stainless steel and titanium.
• Able to read operation sheets, blueprints and technical drawings; strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on a variety of materials to precise specifications per procedures and aerospace standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Follow work instructions and travelers to ensure customer and industry requirements.
• Conduct in-process inspections and verify quality standards.
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, fitting, and set-up; maintain equipment and workstation.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Engineering and Production to resolve issues.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures.
