Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Eastford, CT is seeking a Welder I to join our aerospace welding team. You will perform GTAW/TIG welding on aerospace engine components in a clean, air-conditioned environment, working closely with sheet metal mechanics and engineers to ensure precise fit-up and high-quality welds.

This full-time role in a manufacturing setting emphasizes safety, process improvements, and adherence to our quality system, with occasional weekends. Authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• GTAW (TIG) welding experience required or preferred.
• Ability to work with engineers and sheet metal mechanics to ensure proper weld fit-up.

Responsibilities

• Welding on Stainless, Nickel, and TI alloys.
• Complete Fillet and Groove welds in multiple positions.
• Light sheet metal work related to welding.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve processes.
• Adhere to quality system and maintain safe work environment.
• Team-oriented work in a collaborative setting.
