Job summary

Enjet Aero, LLC in Manchester, CT is seeking a skilled TIG welder to produce aerospace parts via TIG welding. The selected candidate must demonstrate welding ability during the interview, with attention to detail to meet customer expectations.

The role includes deburring, cleaning, inspection with precision tools, and adherence to the Quality Management System. You will collaborate with peers and supervisors in a deadline-driven environment to deliver high-quality components.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; CNC education preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity.
  • Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Weld using TIG equipment.
  • Deburr parts using handheld tools.
  • Clean and wash parts to remove manufacturing oils, dirt and debris.
  • Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations.
  • Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc.
  • Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System.
  • Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor and other staff.
  • Other duties as directed by supervisor.
