Job summary

Modern Industries Manufacturing is seeking an experienced TIG welder to produce flight-ready components. You will read customer drawings, interpret weld symbols, and set up for GTAW welds on steel, aluminum, and exotic alloys.

Responsibilities include performing welds to spec, inspecting processes, and maintaining documentation. The role requires good math, blueprint literacy, and machine upkeep in a safety‑minded aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and instructions.
• Complete certifications and documentation.
• Experience with TIG welding on steel, aluminum and exotic alloys.
• Operate and troubleshoot welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare joints, perform TIG (GTAW) welding, and finish welds to meet drawings and specs.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and weld symbol requirements.
• Conduct process inspections and document results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment.
• Support additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
