Projects Incorporated is seeking a Welder to support aerospace component production in a full-time role in Glastonbury, CT. The welder will perform precision TIG welding on aerospace-grade materials, fabricate and repair components, and ensure welds meet strict specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Welding certification from an accredited program preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in TIG welding and working with thin-gauge materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precision TIG welding on aerospace-grade materials (aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, nickel alloys, Inconel).
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair components per drawings and welding procedures.
  • Read blueprints and weld symbols to guide work.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and fixtures.
  • Verify dimensions and ensure weld quality with tolerances.
  • Conduct visual inspections and support quality checks.
  • Maintain production, quality, and traceability records.
  • Comply with aerospace manufacturing safety and requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
