Job Description

We are seeking a Welder to support the production of quality precision parts. he Welder is responsible for the precision welding, fabrication, assembly, and repair of aerospace components and structures used in aircraft, spacecraft, defense systems, and related equipment. This position performs critical welding operations on aerospace-grade materials while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The Welder plays a key role in producing reliable products that meet customer and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform precision TIG welding on aerospace-grade materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, nickel alloys, and Inconel.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair components in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and welding procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and related tools.
  • Verify part dimensions and ensure weld quality meets established standards and tolerances.
  • Conduct visual inspections of welded assemblies and support quality inspections as required.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and traceability documentation.
  • Follow all company, customer, and regulatory requirements related to aerospace manufacturing.
  • Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Welding certification from an accredited technical program preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in TIG welding and working with thin-gauge materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation0-2 years of machining or manufacturing experience
  • Basic understanding of machining principles and shop math
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Good attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

Preferred (Not Required)
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • AWS welding certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working under AS9100 quality standards.
  • Experience welding titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and other aerospace alloys.

Working Conditions
