Job summary

Machina Labs is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to support the production of aerospace components and assemblies. This is a hands-on role emphasizing precision workmanship and the ability to read engineering drawings and follow established processes.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to troubleshoot issues and improve production. The position is 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
• Readiness to work with tight tolerances and maintain workmanship.
• Experience setting up and operating TIG welding equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision TIG welding on aerospace components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, specifications, and manufacturing instructions.
• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment based on procedures and work instructions.
• Inspect finished welds and identify defects, dimensional issues, or nonconformances.
• Maintain production documentation and traceability records.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues and improve processes.
