Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. is hiring a welder with TIG experience to join our aerospace repair team in Mentor, OH. You will fit, weld, brazing, and repair turbine engine parts using TIG and related processes under supervision.

You will advance through hands-on training, read drawings, and grow into more responsibilities as you demonstrate skill and safety compliance in a climate-controlled welding department.

Qualifications

• Technical high school or trade school weld curriculum completed.
• Minimum two years TIG welding experience.
• AWS D17.1 certification credentials preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions including drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding and brazing on turbine engine components under supervision.
• Inspect welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Progress to independent welding tasks with increasing responsibility.
