Job summary

Bodycote is seeking an EB Weld Technician to join our team. The role involves preparing materials, positioning fixtures, aligning equipment, following customer specifications, and maintaining inspection records. Hours are 3:00 pm–11:30 pm in a safety‑sensitive environment.

This position requires ITAR compliance (U.S. citizens or permanent residents), a high school diploma, 1 year GTAW/TIG welding experience, forklift certification, and proficiency with MS Office and databases.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance requires U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident status.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of GTAW or TIG welding experience.
• Overtime may be required; shifts include weekends.
• Forklift operation certification required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare materials for EB Weld processing.
• Position and secure work pieces onto fixtures.
• Align fixtures and attachments on machines.
• Follow customer specifications and measure welds with precision tools.
• Prepare weld specimens and adjust settings with QC guidance.
• Operate in-house welding equipment and maintain records.
• Report irregularities to Leadperson and support safety practices.
