Job summary

Continental Aerospace Technologies™ is seeking a Production Team Member- Welder to perform precision TIG welding on aircraft engine components and metal parts in accordance with engineering specifications and safety requirements.

The role requires high craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to produce clean, high-quality welds on various materials. Training will develop advanced welding skills in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or four years related experience.
• Ability to pass welding certification testing for aluminum TIG welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with TIG welding on aerospace components and assemblies.
• Experience with torch brazing and other welding methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on aerospace engine components and metal parts.
• Join, fabricate, modify, and repair metal components using TIG welding techniques.
• Fabricate components using torch brazing.
• Cut and weld steel tools and fixtures to support production.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure welds meet requirements.
• Inspect welds for compliance with standards and dimensions.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment and work areas safely.
• Work within a structured training environment to develop advanced welding skills.
