Qualifications

• Technical high school or equivalent weld curriculum completed.
• Successful completion of TIG welding courses from an approved school and/or at least 2 years TIG welding experience.
• AWS D17.1 aerospace endorsement certification preferred or AWS credential.

Responsibilities

• Weld, prepare and finish parts using TIG welding as the primary method.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Ensure weld quality and compliance with AWS D17.1 aerospace standards.
• Operate welding equipment and use related tools safely.
• Collaborate with experienced welders and undergo OJT to enhance skills.
