Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an expert drafter to join the MK1Lunar Lander team, contributing to design layouts, drawings, and data releases using CAD and PLM tools. You will review drawings for conformance and assist cross-functional teams in layout and detail design of complex assemblies for spaceflight hardware.

Qualifications

Associate degree in CAD/Drafting or Design.
5+ years of experience in aerospace development or similar industry.
Proficiency in drawing generation and release using Creo Parametric and Windchill.
Experience with standard fits, tolerance stacks, and ASME Y14.5 GD&T.

Responsibilities

Prepare design layouts, create detail part and assembly drawings/MBDs, and release data sets using CAD/PLM tools.
Review engineering drawings to ensure alignment with specs and standards.
Support engineering teams with mechanical layout and detail design for structural parts and assemblies.
Apply design, drafting, and manufacturing standard methodologies to balance cost, schedule, and performance.
