Job summary

Blue Origin in Colorado is seeking a CAD Engineer to work on the MK1 Lunar Lander within the Lunar Permanence unit. You will prepare design layouts, create detail drawings, and release data using Creo and PLM tools. The role requires 2+ years in aerospace, an associate degree in CAD, and proficiency in GD&T.

You will collaborate across teams to select materials, define interfaces, and ensure manufacturability. Base pay ranges vary by location; CO range is listed in the job posting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in aerospace development or similar industry.
• Proficiency in drawing generation and release using Creo Parametric and Windchill.
• Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience managing large CAD assemblies and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design layouts and create detail and assembly drawings/MBDs using CAD/PLM tools.
• Review drawings to ensure alignment with specifications and standards.
• Support mechanical layout and detailing for fluids components including tube routing.
• Maintain engineering data with datasets and part releases.
• Apply standard design/manufacturing methods balancing cost, schedule, and performance.
