Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an expert drafter to join the MK1Lunar Lander team in Florida. You will create and release design layouts, detail parts and assemblies, and support cross-functional engineers in mechanical design for the lunar vehicles.

Required are CAD drafting skills, GD&T knowledge, and experience with large CAD assemblies. The role emphasizes quality, attention to detail, and collaboration to meet safety and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD & Design or equivalent.
• 5+ years in aerospace or similar.
• Proficient in Creo Parametric and Windchill release processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design layouts, detail parts and assemblies, release data sets using CAD/PLM tools.
• Review drawings for compliance to specs and standards.
• Support engineering with mechanical layout and detailed design of structural parts and assemblies.
• Apply company techniques to plan, layout, and maintain engineering data (detail, assembly, installation drawings).
• Implement standard methodologies balancing cost, schedule, and performance.
