Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Test Technician II to join our electronics lab. You will work closely with engineers to create and run module and payload tests, using spectrum analyzers, VNAs, power supplies, and other instruments.

You’ll design test setups and contribute to improving test quality in a dynamic startup environment. Responsibilities include aligning with engineers to troubleshoot RF circuitry, reading schematics, and building reliable fixtures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AS in Electronics, Computer Science, Manufacturing or related preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with active electronics and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and report findings clearly and promptly.
• Organize and maintain antenna testing facilities and resources.
• Create clean, documented test setups with instrumentation and DUTs.
• Produce thorough documentation with high quality standards.
• Assemble and validate custom test fixtures and cabling for production.
• Validate test solutions by measuring instrument and cable performance.
