Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Test Technician II on the 2nd shift to support module and payload test setups, run test plans, and report outcomes. You will use spectrum analyzers, VNAs, automated power supplies, and related instruments to generate reliable results and help improve test architecture.

The candidate should have a minimum of three years in electronics testing, the ability to read schematics, solder and assemble harnesses, and a collaborative mindset within a small, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AS in Electronics or related preferred.
• Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with active electronics.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical assembly docs.
• Ability to solder, build and rework PCBs, cabling and related.
• Hands-on with lab instruments (spectrum analyzers, RF generators, VNAs).
• Strong documentation and organizational skills; teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and provide concise, timely reporting of findings.
• Organize and maintain antenna testing facilities and resources.
• Create clean, intricate test setups with instrumentation and DUTs.
• Create thorough documentation with attention to detail and quality.
• Assemble and validate custom test fixtures and cabling for test stations.
• Perform measurement validation on test solutions and equipment.
