Job summary

CesiumAstro, Austin-based, seeks a Test Technician III to support module and payload test setups, run test plans, and deliver reliable results. You’ll work closely with engineers using spectrum analyzers, VNAs, power supplies, and more in a dynamic lab environment.

As a hands-on teammate, you’ll troubleshoot electronics, read schematics, and document procedures with precision, contributing to production validation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced startup setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant test technician experience.
• Experience with active electronics and RF components.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical documentation.
• Soldering and PCB work experience.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and provide concise, timely reporting of findings.
• Organize and maintain antenna/testing facilities and resources.
• Create clean, intricate test setups with instrumentation and DUTs.
• Produce thorough documentation with high quality standards.
• Assemble and validate custom test fixtures for production support.
