Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Test Technician II to support 2nd shift in our electronics lab, developing module and payload test setups, executing test plans, and producing timely results.

You will work with spectrum analyzers, VNAs, power supplies, and related equipment, collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot RF circuitry from component level to system level. A strong hands-on mindset and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AS degree in Electronics preferred.
• A minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with active electronics.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical assembly documentation.
• Ability to solder, build and rework PCBs and cabling.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and vector signal analyzers, DMMs, oscilloscopes.
• Strong documentation and test setup skills.
• Team oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and report findings concisely and promptly.
• Organize and maintain antenna testing facilities and resources.
• Create clean, well-documented test setups with instrumentation and DUT.
• Produce thorough documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
• Assemble and validate custom test fixtures and cable harnesses for production and validation.
• Perform measurement validation on test solutions and instruments.
