O’Neil & Associates, Inc. is hiring a Technical Writer I to craft detailed operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures for heavy equipment.

The role operates in a fast-paced, hybrid environment with collaboration across engineering teams and subject matter experts. Responsibilities include drafting manuals, service bulletins, and training materials, while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and safety protocols.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 0–2 years writing complex technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with DoD technical documentation preferred.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and data.

Responsabilidades

• Write technical documentation and manuals per customer specs.
• Troubleshoot heavy-duty equipment systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).
• Research and reuse existing data, text, and illustrations.
• Draft and coordinate technical content for final products.
• Archive and organize technical data for future projects.
• Meet deadlines and follow safety protocols.
