Job summary

Alutiiq Information Managment, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, has an opportunity for a Technical Writer. This role supports FORGE on Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii, developing and updating technical documentation for equipment operation, safety, and manufacturing procedures.

Ideal candidates will edit docs per DoD directives and local style guides, maintain configuration management, and prepare engineering materials. Requires DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and MIL-SPEC experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited university, and/or commensurate certifications/experience.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain/reestablish this level.

Responsibilities

• Revise, redline, and publish system administration manuals, reference manuals, installation guides, training manuals, test procedures and SOPs.
• Maintain configuration management for version control of technical manuals, publications, and drawings.
• Prepare engineering documents including proofreading, data collection, research, analysis, and data organization for process development.
• Develop and update training curriculum related to equipment operation, safety procedures, and related systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and testers to translate complex concepts into clear documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of military specifications in an ISEA environment and review TMCR documentation.
• Create/edit O&M, SOVT, ICD, IDP, and SOP documents.
