Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines, seeks a Systems Integration Engineer – Technical Publications onsite in East Hartford to modernize and automate digital maintenance data systems. You will bridge software, publications, and IT teams to deliver new solutions supporting legacy and GTF programs.

Requirements include a BS in CS/IT/Engineering with 5 years of related experience; preferred skills include XML/SGML, ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and experience with SQL/Oracle, Python, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical Communications, or related field and 5 years experience; or advanced degree with 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide XML/SGML technical data delivery to airframers, airlines, and MROs, enabling digital data threads and publishing systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers, IT, and third-party providers for change management, content management, publishing, and analytics.
• Design, develop, integrate, and implement new systems and enhancements aligning with business objectives and automation goals.
• Manage project plans and processes for technical publications changes, including requirements, risks, and dependencies.
