Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer – Technical Publications to modernize and automate the digital technical publications ecosystem for Pratt & Whitney engines. You will bridge software engineering, technical publications, business analysis, and project leadership to deliver systems that manage and distribute aircraft maintenance data.

You will collaborate with customers, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to expand publishing automation, support legacy and GTF programs, and drive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Technical Communications or related field; 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with XML/SGML-based technical publications or digital maintenance data.
Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle/PLSQL).
Experience with XSL/XSLT, HTML, or IETP development and related tech.
Python development or scripting; familiarity with Jenkins or CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of XML/SGML technical data to airframers, airlines, and MROs.
Collaborate with MDSE software engineers, IT teams, and third-party providers for publishing systems.
Design, develop, integrate, and implement new systems to support business objectives and automation.
Manage project plans and processes for technical publications system changes.
Participate in all SDLC phases from scoping to post-production support.
Troubleshoot and resolve MDSE system issues; contribute to the MDSE technology plan.
