Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Technical Publication Systems team, advancing software used to create and publish technical documents for military engines. You will help improve systems used across multiple programs and collaborate with a globally diverse group to meet demanding publication needs.

You will design, build, test, and implement scalable software for front- and back-end applications, while maintaining technical docs and aligning with S1000D standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in software development or advanced degree with 3+ years in aftermarket operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Military Engine Programs to support software systems for publication.
• Manage project scope and deadlines across multiple stakeholders.
• Enhance internal platforms for automated on-demand publications of technical data.
• Support on-time deliveries by coordinating with dependent engine programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to improve publishing performance.
• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable front-end and back-end software.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software development.
• Implement S1000D compliant technical data standards as part of authoring suite.
• Update BOEs as needed and track funding cycles.
