Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) is seeking a STEM student for an internship/co-op in Windsor Locks, CT. The role focuses on developing, managing, and verifying engine control system requirements and components.

You will perform analyses, support tests, and coordinate across teams to ensure product integrity and successful certification. Strong analytical and communication skills are required, with exposure to DoD-related projects and DoE standards being a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and enrolled through internship/co-op.
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and allocate requirements for engine control systems.
  • Perform control system analyses to support requirements development and verification activities for engine control system products.
  • Integrate engine control system components and subsystems.
  • Coordinate requirements and verification plans across multidisciplinary teams within Collins and with external customers.
  • Support the validation and verification of product requirements through analysis, development testing, and acceptance/qualification/certification testing
  • Analyze engine parameter data, support investigations using RCCA methodologies and identify issues down to the component level for resolution by the IPT.
