Job summary

RTX offers an internship/co-op program designed for hands-on learning in the aerospace and defense sector. You will work with Production Test Engineers to support test equipment and processes across the product life cycle.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, process improvements, and data-driven analysis in a secure, onsite manufacturing setting. Candidates must be pursuing a STEM degree and be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM and enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the validation of new or modified test equipment for production use.
• Ensure operation of test equipment and that work instructions are accurate.
• Ensure test equipment and software meet test requirements for the product.
• Analyze predictive metrics to monitor test yields and failures.
• Perform preliminary investigation of problem resolution.
• Maintain changes to the test equipment technical data package.
• Assist in fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of product or test equipment.
• Lead root cause investigations and present findings.
