Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Test Engineering Analysis Intern in East Hartford, CT. The role provides hands-on support for development engine tests, functional validation, and data analysis across Commercial, Military, and Industrial lines.

You will assist in test planning, instrumentation coordination, and pre/post-test analysis while collaborating with test engineers and CIPTs. The program emphasizes learning, discipline improvement, and robust test coverage, with on-site work

Qualifications

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's, or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Science and Technology. ABET‑accredited program required.
Must have a minimum of 30 credit hours by start of internship.
Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for development engine tests and functional validation across RTX product lines.
Support test and analysis plans, instrumentation requirements coordination, pre-test predictions, test procedure development & methods, and test data management.
Coordinate on-site/remote test coverage and post-test data validation and reporting.
Participate in discipline improvement activities and knowledge management.
