Job summary

RTX is seeking a hands-on software engineering intern/co-op in Cedar Rapids to design, develop, and test flight management system features used in military aircraft. You will work within a team of Systems and Software engineers to deliver integrated software solutions onsite.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an engineering degree and have experience with C/C++, ADA, or Python, with a focus on learning systems engineering and flight management systems in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering and enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Work with Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems used in military helicopters and planes.
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, and coordination to deliver quality, timely products to internal and external customers.
