RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer Co-Op in Cedar Rapids to work on mission-critical avionics software. You will develop requirements, perform tests, and integrate software within an Agile team, translating needs into robust solutions.

You will design software requirements in DOORS, build automated tests with Python, and participate in verification activities. This internship offers hands-on learning in aerospace systems and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with scripting using Python (or similar).
• Familiarity with Requirements Development preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop requirements, tests, verification and integration for avionics software in a systems engineering context.
• Design and define software requirements using DOORs.
• Develop automated and semi-automated test scripts using Python.
• Verify software builds in lab environments and support verification events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine system requirements and designs.
