Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, analyze and integrate actuation systems for aerospace applications. You will work on system life cycle from concept to end of life, report to the Senior Engineering Program Manager, and operate from Tempe, AZ on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities include requirements decomposition, actuation integration, modeling, and V&V activities, with collaboration across diverse, global teams and ongoing engagement with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 3 years of Systems Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• System and Component Requirements analysis and decomposition.
• Actuation system integration and component development.
• Mechanical Systems design and component controller integration.
• Electro-Mechanical System and Component Modeling and Analysis.
• Control architecture and design.
• Physics-based model development and system design.
• Root cause and corrective action planning and execution.
• Mechanical Systems validation & verification.
• Customer technical interface.
• Effective delegation of work to team members.
