Job summary

Parker Aerospace seeks a Supply Chain leader to drive procurement, materials management, and inventory control at the plant location. You will coordinate with purchasing, production planning, and IT to optimize material flow from suppliers through delivery, with matrix responsibilities supporting production planning and shipping functions.

The role involves leading pricing negotiations, supplier certifications, and implementing lean practices such as Kanban.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree in a related technical or business discipline, professional level experience of six or more years, with leadership ability.
• Certification or a professional designation (e.g. APICS) may be required or preferred depending on position requirements.
• Proven competency in a team leader role for two or more years, and/or leadership of major projects in a team environment.
• Thorough knowledge of products, manufacturing processes and technology, information systems, and general business practices.
• Demonstrated teamwork and ability to promote change and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and materials management activities including order placement and supplier evaluation/certification.
• Coordinate Production Planning's MRP activities to support on-time deliveries and data accuracy.
• Monitor shipping/receiving performance and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize tracking systems and drive material flow planning and KPIs.
• Help implement lean principles and Kanban across the division.
• Prepare and manage department budget within guidelines.
