Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a senior Materials/Procurement leader to coordinate procurement and materials management across manufacturing divisions in the United States. The role emphasizes supplier evaluation, cost reduction, and compliance with government procurement standards.

The incumbent will drive MRP data accuracy, lead a team in purchasing and supplier quality, and advance lean initiatives to improve on-time delivery and cash flow across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years purchasing/materials management experience in a world-class, high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience with state-of-the-art materials management systems including supply chain management, cash flow and asset management, JIT.
• Experience managing teams and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and materials management activities: order placement, supplier evaluation, price negotiation, and regulatory compliance.
• Matrix responsibilities for Production Planning and MRP data integrity across divisions.
• Oversee budgets and cost reduction programs for the materials function.
• Develop and implement lean, Kanban and supplier management initiatives.
