Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Division Supply Chain Quality Engineer in California to support aerospace supplier quality improvement and ensure contract compliance, quality and on-time delivery. You''ll lead root cause investigations, coordinate with suppliers and Parker engineering teams, conduct audits for AS9100, and support new product development with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5-7 years in supplier quality, AS9100/Nadcap knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
• 5-7 years in supplier quality/quality assurance, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Knowledge of AS9100, Nadcap, APQP/PPAP processes.
• Experience with Zero Defect concepts and quality improvement methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and specifications.
• Experience with MS Office and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Improvement: root cause corrective actions for quality and delivery issues.
• Zero Defect Implementation to promote supplier predictability.
• Prequalification/qualification of suppliers before work placement.
• New Product Development support with cross-functional teams.
• Define and communicate product/process parameters with suppliers and engineering teams.
• Support source inspections, first article inspection, PPAPs and customer transfers.
• Support supplier work transfer and high-performance teams.
• Quality system audits for suppliers lacking AS9100.
