Job summary

Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies. The Division Supply Chain Quality Technician supports the factory by monitoring operations and supplier parts to identify nonconformances and shipping issues.

You will coordinate with the Supply Chain Quality Engineering team to drive improvements and ensure timely availability of supplier products for manufacturing. The role requires 2–4 years in inspection or supplier quality with experience using inspection

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related inspection or supplier experience (Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, aerospace manufacturing preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in inspection methods and the use of inspection tools to evaluate parts.
• Experience in evaluating technical materials including purchase orders, blueprints, specifications and other requirements as necessary.
• High School Diploma or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Managing and solving day-to-day problems that occur with supplier products to make supplier product available to Manufacturing Operations.
• Communicating with suppliers via email and telephone to solve issues to make supplier product available to Manufacturing Operations.
• Support and validate containment of nonconforming supplier parts upon receipt.
• Assist in validating supplier corrective actions upon part receipt.
• Communicate to the divisional Supply Chain Quality Engineering team, chronic supplier issues to drive continuous supplier improvement.
• Reviewing Supplier's First Article Inspections
