Job summary

Parker Hannifin's Parker Aerospace division in Elyria, OH, seeks a Quality/Inspection professional to support factory operations by monitoring inbound supplier products and internal Parker items for nonconformances and documentation gaps, and to take corrective action to ensure part availability.

Qualifications

2-3 years of related inspection or supplier experience (Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, aerospace manufacturing preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Experience in inspection methods and the use of inspection tools to evaluate parts.
Proficiency in reading and understanding complex blueprints, route sheets, test specifications and customer drawings.
Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Monitor inbound supplier products and Parker products for delays due to nonconformances or documentation gaps.
Escalate issues to the appropriate function to resolve part availability problems.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure premier customer service and continuous improvement.
Review First Article Inspections, PPAPs and quality documentation.
Support audits and site quality programs.
