Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies. The Division Supply Chain Quality Technician supports the factory by monitoring operations and supplier parts to identify nonconformances and shipping issues.

You will coordinate with the Supply Chain Quality Engineering team to drive improvements and ensure timely availability of supplier products for manufacturing. The role requires 2–4 years in inspection or supplier quality with experience using inspection

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related inspection or supplier experience (Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, aerospace manufacturing preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in inspection methods and the use of inspection tools to evaluate parts.
• Experience in evaluating technical materials including purchase orders, blueprints, specifications and other requirements as necessary.
• High School Diploma or higher required.

Position Summary

The Division Supply Chain Quality Technician functions within a matrixed organization, reporting directly to the Division Supply Chain Quality Manager and dot-line matrixed to the factory Quality Manager.

This role is responsible for supporting the factory by monitoring factory operation (including the Receiving dock) to identify supplier products delayed due to nonconformances, paperwork, shipping issues, etc. and take appropriate actions to reconcile whatever issues are negatively affecting the availability of supplier parts. Reconciliation actions may include escalation to the appropriate Supply Chain Quality Engineer.

Essential Functions

The successful candidate will be responsible for accomplishing the following:

• Managing and solving day-to-day problems that occur with supplier products tomake supplier product available to Manufacturing Operations. This may include evaluating problems related to received products or paperwork.
• Demonstrating business acumen in communicating with suppliers via email and telephone to solve issues to make supplier product available to Manufacturing Operations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or higher
• Experience working in or with Quality, Engineering or Manufacturing disciplines

EXPERIENCE:

• 2-4 years of related inspection or supplier experience (Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, aerospace manufacturing preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience in inspection methods and the use of inspection tools to evaluate parts
• Experience in evaluating technical materials including purchase orders, blueprints, specifications and other requirements as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Effective use of Microsoft software tools for communications
• Ability to identify problems and develop solutions
• Demonstrate the values of customer satisfaction, integrity, continuous improvement, and adherence to standards, aiming to ensure consistently high-quality products or services.

Conditions of Employment

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation

• Pay Range: $29.8/hr to $49.65/hr
• Participation in Annual Incentive Program
