Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation, through Parker Chomerics, seeks a supplier quality engineer to drive supplier evaluation, process capability programs, and ongoing quality improvements across components and assemblies. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to implement dock-to-stock initiatives, perform audits, and ensure timely disposition of non-conforming material.

A BS in engineering and 2–4 years of related quality experience are required, along with US citizenship or permanent

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering required.
• 2-4 years of related experience; quality engineering preferred.
• US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency required.
• Knowledge of and experience with precision machining.
• Strong understanding of statistical quality assurance methods.

Responsibilities

• Devise methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating supplier quality.
• Coordinate supplier process capability programs for new components, processes, assemblies or purchased finished goods.
• Lead supplier development activities geared towards increased Dock-to-Stock and replenishment programs.
• Perform supplier quality system audits and follow up on non-conformances.
• Dispose nonconforming material promptly and analyze defects to initiate corrective actions.
