Job summary

AV is seeking a Manager, Supplier Quality Engineering to lead a team of SQEs, driving supplier performance and coordinating with Global Supply Chain to improve cost, quality and delivery across the BU. The role reports to the BU Director of Quality and requires strong accountability and the ability to enforce corrective actions.

With AS9100D, AS9102, and AS9145 expertise, you will manage audits, CAPA closures, and supplier development, while travel up to 30% enables collaboration across sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in Supplier Quality/Manufacturing Quality or related roles.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day performance and development of a team of SQEs.
• Own BU supplier quality performance: scorecards, escalations, CAPA closures.
• Enforce defined performance expectations and corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with BU site leadership on quality and delivery improvements.
• Establish foundational supplier quality systems and processes where needed.
• Coordinate with Global Supply Chain on cross-BU initiatives and supplier consolidation.
• Oversee supplier audits and AS9100D/AS9102/AS9145 compliance.
