Job summary

Actalent in Moorpark, CA is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure purchased materials and components meet quality, regulatory, and customer requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will develop supplier quality plans, lead corrective actions, perform supplier audits, and drive continuous improvement across the supply base with RCCA/5-Why methods, while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement to ensure on-time delivery and conformance to AS9100 and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, or Quality Assurance experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement supplier quality plans to ensure requirements are met.
Lead supplier corrective actions including root cause investigations and preventive measures.
Participate in supplier qualification and selection processes to ensure capability and delivery.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate quality and performance.
Maintain Approved Supplier List (ASL) of qualified suppliers.
Monitor supplier quality using metrics and reporting tools.
