Job summary

Aerotek seeks a structural welder for contract work in Columbus, GA. The role involves high-precision welding and fabrication of launch hardware using FCAW, GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW processes on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings, apply proper weld procedures, and collaborate with the welding team to deliver quality, code-compliant weldments. Onsite only with competitive per diem and benefits.

Qualifications

• Welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Experience with FCAW, GTAW, SMAW, and GTAW welding processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and pipe welding on various materials.
• Cut, fit, and fabricate weldments to precise dimensions.
• Interpret drawings and follow weld procedures.
