Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Welder and Fabricator for a contract-based role in Orlando, FL. The candidate will join, fabricate and repair metal parts using welding techniques, and interpret blueprints to guide welding processes, ensuring structural integrity of welds.

Required 3-5+ years in structural welding and fitting, with Flux Core and Pulse welding experience; tests include 3G Flux Core and 3G Pulse welds. Per diem applies, with standard onsite schedule.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of structural welding and fitting experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and welding symbols.
• Proficiency with flux core and pulse welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Join, fabricate and repair metal and weldable materials using specified welding methods.
• Inspect welds for structural soundness and ensure quality standards.
• Weld and fit large structural steel components for NAVSEA-related equipment.
