Job summary

Saab is expanding its West Lafayette, IN facility and seeks 3rd shift Structural Assemblers to build the aft fuselage for the T-7A Red Hawk trainer. You will assemble aircraft structures, train new team members, and contribute to the production system while earning $23-$25 per hour plus a $2 shift premium.

On-site training through the Aerospace Structures Academy is provided. Responsibilities include following standardized procedures to install systems, ensuring quality, and supporting safety,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant assembly or hand tool experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Safety-minded with use of hand and power tools.
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aircraft structure per procedures.
• Read specs and ensure 100% quality.
• Train new team members.
• Support continuous improvement in safety and quality.
• Complete functional testing of assemblies and systems.
