Job summary

Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum in Denver seeks an Aerospace STEAM Instructor to advance our educational mission. You will teach 8–18-year-olds in museum and classroom settings, develop and deliver 3D visualization, printing, and related STEAM activities across Wings locations.

Collaborate with the Education Program Coordinator and volunteers, design onsite and offsite programs, maintain curriculum inventory, and promote inclusive access while adapting to a fast-paced, hands-on

Qualifications

Experience in STEAM education at middle/high school level.
Wide range of STEAM skills: 3D printing, resin printer, laser-cutting, and visualization programs.
Knowledge of aerospace education trends.
Self-motivated, energetic and teamwork oriented.
Ability to take initiative and work creatively.
Excellent organizational, communication and planning skills.
Able to work independently or in a team.
Able to engage diverse audiences and promote inclusion.
Flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Teach students ages 8-18 in Aerospace and STEAM lessons in museums and classroom settings at Wings locations and the Denver Metro area.
Design and implement onsite and offsite programs including Wings Aerospace Exploration Program, summer camps, and workshops.
Maintain, organize, and inventory curriculum and classroom supplies.
